This training course can be of immediate benefit, enabling participants to identify different styles of behaviour, increase their personal effectiveness, and develop greater confidence and a more positive self-image. Assertive communication can reduce tension and confusion, resulting in a more productive workplace.
Course designed for anyone who needs to improve their assertive communication skills
Assertiveness - Course Aims and Objectives
At the end of the course the participant will be able to:
- Memorise vital information
- Identify the 4 communication styles
- Know the 5 'must ask' questions to defuse tensions in a conflict
- Analyse and plan: what to say and do before you confront anyone
- Learn the 5 key assertiveness skills
The course will also encourage:
- Putting assertiveness to work
- Drawing the line with aggressive people
- Unmasking passive/aggressive people
- The development of Personal Action Plans to take back to the workplace to assist in everyday life.

Fees
On-site: £800 + VAT for one day, maximum of 8 participants (i.e.
£100 + VAT per participant). This includes all training materials, manuals,
etc.
Additional costs: Trainer's travel expenses and overnight accomodation
if required.
