Project Management Awareness
2 day course
This training programme has been designed to give a better understanding
of the role of a member of a Project Team.
Course designed for those who are involved in any type of project team
.
Course Aims and Objectives
At the end of the course the participant will be able to:
- Memorise vital information
- Demonstrate an understanding of the role of a Project Manager
- Understand how to "build" and motivate a project team;
defining skill requirements, involvement and feedback
- Manage the project life cycle, feasibility, definition, planning,
implementation, post-project review and hand-over/completion
- Manage potential sources of conflict
- Understand basic planning principles
- Schedule project activities
The course will also cover:
- How to keep the project on track, using task lists and the work breakdown
structure (WBS).
- Determining dependencies and progress reporting.
- How to cope if things start to go wrong, looking ahead, accurately
assessing the situation, implications, underlying causes and options
available.
Fees
On-site: minimum of 4 participants £1600 + VAT (i.e. £400
+ VAT per participant)
Each additional participant £200 + VAT
There are no other costs
Open public course: £590 + VAT per person
